STRESS FREE SHOPPING

  • Although we welcome walk-ins, an appointment will guarantee that a fitting room will be available for you and we will work exclusively with you during your appointment. Please advise us if you are unable to keep your appointment so that we may open up that appointment to another bride.

  • We strongly suggest that you limit the number of guests you bring with you to try on gowns. We are a small boutique and need the room to work and make our brides feel comfortable. We recommend one or two people whose opinions you truly value, as too many external influences make your decision making process difficult. You are the one who is wearing the gown and it should be the gown of your dreams!

  • Your initial appointment is 1.5 hours. We request that children NOT be brought to the salon. They grow restless and bored quickly and there is a lot of glass and mirrors, and we do not want to have an accident.  This is a special time for you and other brides in the salon, so we ask for your consideration.

  • Proper undergarments must be worn when trying on our gowns. Please do not come “panty free” or your appointment will have to be rescheduled

  • We ask that you keep makeup to a minimum for fittings. In addition, please avoid perfumes and tanning solutions to protect our gowns.

  • We also request that you and your guests remove your shoes before entering the fitting area. If this makes anyone uncomfortable, suggest that your guests bring along socks or slippers to wear while you are trying on the gowns.

  • NO food or drinks are allowed in the boutique. No alcohol permitted.

SCARLET BRIDAL BOUTIQUE STORE POLICIES

THERE WILL BE A STYLIST IN THE CHANGING ROOM WITH EACH PERSON WITH ITEMS BEING TRIED ON. ALL ITEMS ARE CONSIGNMENT AND THE PROPERTY OF A PRIVATE PARTY AND IT IS OUR STANDARD TO KEEP ITEMS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND FREE FROM DAMAGES.

  • Due to the special nature of the consignment and off-the-rack business, there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. EVERY SALE IS A FINAL SALE.

  • A 50% deposit is required for any item we are holding for you. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • All gowns are ordered by size. Bust, waist and hip measurements are taken then compared to the manufacturer’s size chart. We must accommodate the largest measurement. Dresses may have a +/1″ seam variation. Alterations are usually necessary. We only measure on the day you are ready to order. Scarlet Bridal is not responsible for weight gain, weight loss, pregnancy or measurements called into our store. You are free to choose a size against the manufacturer’s recommended size; if you do so, remember all sales are final and orders cannot be exchanged or returned. It is easier to take a dress in, then to let it out. Brides are responsible for the fees to reorder a new gown.

  • Balances are due on custom order gowns when they arrive.

  • Shipping dates given by the manufacturer are estimates. Dresses can run 2 to 6 weeks late, even on rush orders. Scarlet Bridal cannot be held responsible for such delays.

  • Alterations are not done at or provided by Scarlet Bridal. 

  • If you are buying a dress off the rack a 50% deposit is also required and the dress must be paid in full within 30 days and/or before any alterations are done.

  • Scarlet Bridal is NOT responsible for any defects once the item leaves our shop.

  • Abandoned property will become property of Scarlet Bridal. Items are considered abandoned when left at Scarlet Bridal 10 days after FULL Payment. If something has changed just let us know!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
    Yes, we are a small boutique and space is limited. Having an appointment insures that we have a dressing room just for you. Walk-ins are welcome, but if there is a bride with an appointment you are welcome to wait or make an appointment for another day.

  • WHAT KIND OF DRESSES DO YOU CARRY?
     We stock a large inventory of new sample, discontinued and gently once-loved off the rack gowns. 

  • WHO SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
    Our space is very limited. Please no more than 4 people plus yourself. 

  • CAN I TAKE PICTURES?
    Yes you can!

  • WILL YOU HOLD A GOWN FOR ME?
    A wedding gown is a big purchase, we respect that you may want to sleep on it. We are working for our consignors and have a responsibility to sell the gowns quickly.  We CANNOT hold gowns that will keep the item off the floor for other brides to try on.  If you are a serious purchasing bride, we will take 50% down and hold it for you for up to 30 days and full payment.  

  • ~DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.~

  • ARE PRICES NEGOTIABLE?
     All prices are firm on custom order gowns. The prices for the new custom order gowns are regulated by contract. 

  • Consignment gowns are priced by the consignor, but the prices of the gowns are reasonably negotiable by boutique staff and the consignor.

  • CAN I CUSTOM ORDER A DRESS I LIKE IN A DIFFERENT COLOR?
    With the sample and consignment gowns,  “What you see is what you get!” Size and color are what is available, ordering is not an option.

  • WILL YOU STORE MY GOWN?
    Yes we will store your “paid in full” gown for 7 days. After 7 days there will be a storage fee of $25 a week or we can make an arrangement of $75 a month.

  • HOW DO I GET ALTERATIONS DONE ON MY GOWN?
    We will give you a list of seamstresses that are in our area that we believe are reputable. We recommend you contact them 3 months before your wedding to have the proper amount of time for alterations.

  • CAN I RETURN MY GOWN AND ACCESSORIES?
    DUE TO THE NATURE OF CONSIGNMENT/OFF THE RACK AND CUSTOM GOWNS, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS!!

  • DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
    Yes, we offer a payment plan. A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE FEE is required to hold the gown. FULL PAYMENT is required within 30 days of down payment. If there is no payment, your plan will be forfeited and the gown will go back on the floor. Please keep in contact with us if you have to make other arrangements. The gown is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
